Brendon + Belinda | Pope Joan Wedding | Wedding Photographers Melbourne
Brendon and Belinda wanted their wedding to be laid back, easy-going and a time to enjoy great food and wine. So Pope Joan was the place and it suited them perfectly. The ceremony took place late afternoon, in the veggie garden with a back drop of beautiful origami pieces hanging in the doorframe all made by the bride.
How they met: The couple met whilst they were both working at Prahran Market (Belinda upstairs at the Food and Wine Festival and Brendon downstairs as a barista). He used to make her ’soy chai lattes’ and was her ’chai guy’ for a while. They used to swap recipes every now and then. That is, until he asked her out for dinner and well, the rest is history!
The proposal: Belinda and Brendon had recently come back from 4 months of eating and drinking our way through Europe, which was the best adventure ever! Brendon proposed while they were in Italy…surrounded by Prosecco Hills and with a nice home made ragu cooking.
The couple love the little things in life like a good slow roasted stew by the fire, finding a new cafe with delicious chai or having a bowl of pho on a cold day.
And take a look at the bride’s stunning Jenny Packham dress – just stunning!
