Ben + Amber | Garden Wedding Photography Melbourne

Amber and Ben’s wedding day was held at Ben’s parents house in beautiful leafy Eltham. The theme of the wedding wasa mix of nature, leaves, lots of green with the addition of a beautiful hand made willow arch way at the entrance to the aisle. All this with a touch of Vintage DIY. As Ben is a musician, great music was very important element for their big day. So they hired a fantastic band to dance the night away.

How they met: Amber is very good friends with Ben’s sister and they met through her, so they’d known each other a long time. Years later, Amber joined Ben’s family on a holiday to Mallacoota where their relationship then began. Ben and Amber love animals, especially their little girl Nari (you’ll see her pictured below). Then there is Minnie. She is their cat and quite the individual. “She is lovely but only when she feels like it. But we still love her to bits.” says Amber.

The proposal: Ben proposed to Amber last year on Christmas Day. Amber says “It was quite the surprise as we were all ready to go to Christmas lunch with my family. Presents had been opened, breaky had been eaten and we were in the car about to drive and Ben pauses… and said ’ I have one more present for you’ and he opened a box with a beautiful ring and proposed. Obviously I said ’yes’ !!

Thank you Amber and Ben for allowing me to be part of your day. Getting married in the suburb where I grew up was so exciting and I was honoured to be involved.

Sweet words from the bride and groom: “Nada, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for capturing the love and friendship that Ben and I share.
It’s clear to see that you love what you do because each photograph that you took is perfect. The crisp colour, the tone and setting of each photo is just as we wanted.
I have been in or a guest of so many weddings and I’m yet to find guests compliment the photographers. I received so many nice compliments about you on the day. Our guests were saying things like, how relaxed and friendly you were. No bossiness. Chatty to our guests and that you felt part of our day.
I loved how you got the job done. There was no dilly dally and unnecessary shots of awkward couples. If you felt the moment deserved a photo you took it.

Finally the icing on the cake was the gorgeous package that arrived in the post. I was impressed from the initial meeting, and having you there on our day but to then receive a beautifully finished product was the best way to relive our wedding day.

Thank you so so much again. Ben and I are so happy that we found you. Love Amber and Ben”
